Light and fruity. Sangrias require a night
in the fridge, so be sure to plan in advance! Cranberry Orange Sangria
Ingredients
• 1 cup Water
• 1/2 cup Sugar
• 3 whole Cloves
• 1 Cinnamon Stick
• 3 Lemon slices
• 4 Cranberry Herbal Tea Bags
• 1 bottle White Zinfandel Wine
• 2 to 4 tablespoons Brandy
• 1/2 pint fresh Strawberries, washed and trimmed
• 1 Orange (unpeeled), washed and cut into 1-inch chunks
• 1 cup Club Soda
Preparation:
In a small saucepan, combine water, sugar, cloves, cinnamon stick and lemon. Simmer
over medium heat, reduce heat to low. Simmer another 10 minutes. Remove pan from heat.
Add in the tea bags, and let sit for 5 minutes. Now remove solids with slotted spoon.
Refrigerate the tea mixture until cool. Put into a large serving container. Add in
wine and brandy. Now add orange and strawberries. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Just before serving, add club soda.
